The top is small with a screw on lid. There are 13 holes punched in each lid. The lid on the salt shaker has 3 rows of thread. The pepper shaker has only one line of thread and it is less obvious. The body is squat and wide near the bottom. The curve to the widest point is concave, thereafter it is convex.
