a) Salt b) Pepper Off white glaze, gold around tops. On front: Black swan over "CYGNIS INSIGNIS" surrounded by "CENTENARY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA" - all in black. On back (in black): "TO COMMEMORATE \ THE CELEBRATION OF \ WESTERN AUSTRALIA \ FIRST CENTENARY \ 1829-1929'. (Appears to be 1828 on the pepper shaker (b). On base: "MADE IN ENGLAND" & crown.
