Marionette, stork. One of the puppet bags, H89.54, is labelled "Stork". Body - Head made from a ping-pong ball covered with white felt, attached to neck (wire covered with white felt), body made from wooden ball covered with white felt, wings made from white felt backed with pink silk, legs made from twisted brown wire. Yellow felt beak, red felt eyes, pale blue tail feathers. Strings attached to head and back, and nylon thread attached to wings.
