Shield-shaped plaque with glued-on circular metal emblem blue, white and green showing the Pacific Ocean and an anchor with the words: "COMMANDER IN CHIEF / (four white stars) / UNITED STATES PACIFIC FLEET", below this a rectangular plate: "Presented by / (signature) / D.C. DAVIS / Admiral, U.S. Navy / Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet". On back: manufacturer's label and white paper label: "PRESENTED TO THE HON. PREMIER OF / WESTERN AUSTRALIA, SIR CHARLES COURT / on FRIDAY 2nd MAY, 1980 when Admiral / Davis visited the Premier's Office at / 9.30 am on that day."
