Frister and Rossman sewing machine; black enamel with gold floral transfer on body; original box converted from treadle; machine bears marks "Frister and Rossman", and on base "TRADE-MARK / BERLIN"; bears small distributor's plate "Sole agents W. Pierssene / 24/25 Fore Street / London E.C." Wooden box has handle at top and locks with key at side. Inlaid ruler along one edge of wooden base, with manufacturers name. Reg No. 1389153.
