a. Glide rule with sliding central panel, with glass and and metal surround; a square calculating plate; the marker. Made by John Davis & Sons, Ltd., Derby. British made glider, Pat no. 232037. Reverse side has scales of weights, for various substances per cubic foot. There are also conversion tables. b. Leatherette and cardboard container, black, oblong, with press stud flap cover. Marked "Glider John Davis & Son (Derby) Ltd in gold lettering.
