Cross-section of tree branch varnished and mounted with logo of Cup-Pex '87: gold laurel wreath around "stamp" with 12 metre yacht on black ground and: "PERTH / CUP-EX (sic) 87". Also a rectangular metal plate: "CUP-PEX '87 / IN APPRECIATION / * THE W.A. MUSEUM * / LOAN OF 4D INVERTED FRAME OF / 1854 OF W.A." Presented to Director at the opening of the philatelic exhibition at the Showgrounds, by Mr Gordon Darge.
