Six cups and saucers in fitted case. Case: Black with deep purple lining. Gold lettering on both sides of lid, inside: "(CROWN) / KILPATRICK & CO / MELBOURNE". Cups & saucer: Cream ground, gold framed reserves of multi-coloured birds. Marks: in circle: "TRADE MARK / E B D / BURSLEM"and R9 No. 75148. Saucers also impressed "BODLEY".
