Rectangular brown leather covered case with pressed grid pattern finish. Contains 3 short bladed veterinarian lancets (?) Each has short steel double edged blade with rasp/file-like finish to both sides. Blades c and d are stamped at base of blade "G R LONE". All have coffin shaped tortoise shell handles into which the blade is folded when not in use. The case is compartmentalized to hold the three lancets. Used (as far as can be gathered from research) to bleed horse, cattle and sheep usually by lancing the jugular vein.
