"HORSTATOR / SOLINGEN / 1823 / MADE IN GERMANY" engraved at base of blade. "HORSTATOR" engraved on handle. Black plastic type box, opening at one end, not hinged. "HORSTATOR / SOLINGEN" in faded gold screen print on main part. "MADE IN GERMANY" and trade mark on cover.
