Carved wooden cockatoo; designed as ornament for wall; has flat back; stained dark wood; cockatoo represented sitting on wooden bough with raised crest and wings aloft (about to disembark?); carving work follows lines of feathers; bird has small eye hook and metal twine at rear for hanging; five holes drilled at back suggest previous mount; evidence of old label; letters "818 B" / -1- (1 shilling?) suggest auction/sale.
