CAMEL TRAIN, CARVED WOOD

H1995.1298

Carved wood camel train consisting of three camels joined by a thin metal chain, led by a man on a donkey. The man is bearded, and appears to wear a form of turban. His hands are clasped together at chest height, and he is looking upwards as if praying. Each camel is carrying a squared saddle or baggage. The train is crudely but deftly carved.
