This plate depicts a group of mounted bushmen with the verse: "The Man from Snowy River \ There was movement at the station, for the word had passed \ around \ That the colt from old Regret had got away, \ And had joined the wild bush horses - he was worth a \ thousand pound, \ So all the cracks had gathered to the fray. A.B. PATERSON " On the back in brown overglaze: " "The Man from Snowy River" \ The verse of "Banjo" Paterson Plate. \ This is one of a Collector's Set of six plates \ honouring the work of A.B.
