Stamp on base "Doulton / Burslem" surmounted by a crown. Red lettering on glaze reads "cl 3705". 'Urn'-shaped pot with band of gold leaf 1 cm in depth 1.7 cm above base. Decorated with orange / red rose bushes also with gold leaf. Three raised decorations of leaves and flowers edged with red. Below gold rim, linear designs of birds - doves? - and leaves. This also features around upper rim. Flat, engraved lid of metal sits into fluted metal rim. Semi-circular handle surmounted by sphere.
