CH1981.438
Two dishes in the shape of shells with moulded floral design and scalloped rim. Decorated over the glaze with pink flowers and dabs of gilding. Marks: printed: "TRADE MARK / (ship - sailing) ENGLAND" inside circle and "W.A.A. & Co." outside underneath. Impressed, underglaze: "IVORY" and "206" and "IS". Painted: "7245". Godden (see below) = William Alsager ADDERLEY, Daisy Bank Pottery, Longton.
