Angular shaped cup with graded foot. Close, fine, white bone china body with clear glaze showing some black specks. Painted in overglaze enamels in floral groups. No marks. Attributed to New Hall. Also illus. D. Holgate, New Hall & it's Imitators pg.172. See also pg.32 ref. to early New Hall bone china glaze tending to show black specks. Christie's 16 August, 1979, lot 207 d.
