White. 7cm wide waistband fastens at back with two fabric covered metal buttons and 2 fixed white tapes. 2 pin-tucks at leg end and strip of white work embroidery. Herringbone embroidery along lower pin-tuck. Crutch seams open. All hand sewn. Inked laundry mark on waistband: 'M.A.F.' Extra fabric attached to waistband on either side at back and 2 triangular pieces let into each side of back below waistband.
