Linear Actuator Override Tool

The Linear Actuator Override Tool (LAOT) is used during the installation and completion phase of a subsea Xmas tree (an assembly of fittings for an oil well). The LAOT is used to override the production valves on the Xmas trees or manifolds to check operation, or allow for wire line operation through the tree main bores. The LAOT is one of the main different types of tools used during the life of field operations.
