The third and final phase of the Welcome Walls project was recently unveiled at the Western Australian Museum – Maritime on Victoria Quay in Fremantle.

Over the next few weeks the Museum will be removing panels from the third stage as part of an ongoing maintenance regime.

The process will involve the application of a wax coating to the panels which will improve the readability of the inscriptions and minimise future cleaning and maintenance requirements.

Access to panel numbers 340 - 427 will be limited for the duration of the maintenance however general access to the Museum site will not be affected in any way.
