Minister for Culture and the Arts, Hon. John Day today announced the Welcome Walls in Fremantle and Albany would be completed by the end of 2010.

He also announced the successful construction company for the Fremantle Welcome Walls as Freo Constructions.

Registrants for both the Fremantle and Albany Welcome Walls will receive a letter from the Museum in the next few days advising them of the December completion date and requesting their final checking of details so inscriptions can begin.

Materials for the Welcome Walls are currently being sourced and registrants will start to see construction over the next few months with both Walls completed by the end of the year.
