In 1954 when Vjeko arrived, he lived at his brother Peter's place and they worked together in his market garden at Osborne Park. In 1956 Vjeko married Joan Divich and settled at Hutton St. Osborne Park. Vjeko worked at his father-in-law's sawmill. They had 3 children John, Judith and Vicky.
