Luka borrowed money for fare to Australia. Working as a miner, repaid debt and brought out fiancee, Franka Simunovic. They married 12/03/1927. Although their first home in Dingbat Flat was destroyed 1934 during Goldfields riots, they embraced Australia and lived a happy life at 41 Clancy St. Boulder with Michael, John, Nicholas and Katie.
