Read their story

When I was 11 yrs old and my 9 yr old sister Anneruth embarked on the migrant ship on our own in Nov 1955. We arrived in Fremantle on Christmas Day 1955. We were each fostered by our mother's 2 sisters. My sister returned to her mother in Germany in 1959 and I remained in Perth.
