Read their story

Joze (Joe) Zekulich migrated to Australia aged 16 having never left his village previously. He was the eldest child (of 9) because he needed to help support his family. He first worked the timber in Nannup before the railway in Kalgoorlie. He settled in the Swan Valley, married Rose and had 5 children. They helped develop the wine industry in WA.
