In the mid 1950s Antonio and Mariangela settled in the Swan Valley and established a vineyard and winery. Antonio worked at the Midland Railway Workshops. They raised five children - Rosa, Mary, Charlie, Jill and Pam, whom all continue to live in the Swan Valley today.
