In the mid 1950s Cosimo (Charlie) settled in the Swan Valley with his parents and sisters. He learned many viticulture, wine making and olive oil making skills and Italian traditions from his parents. He served as a City of Swan Councillor for many years and as Mayor 2001-2003.
