Karl and Erna arrived in Fremantle with two children, Albert & Sonja, hoping for a better life. They settled in Medina. Karl worked for B.P. Refinery (Kwinana) for over 25 years. Later two more children arrived, twins Marion and Janet. Medina (Kwinana) has grown, a lovely town with beautiful parks.

came from germany with 2 children to australia not speaking good english. Pa got job b.p refinery.

My parents were very brave arriving at Fremantle Harbour in 1954 with 2 children and very little english. They have both since passed away Mum (Erna 21.09.2008) Dad (Karl 12.07.2012) they left behind some precious memories. Thank you for being the best parents ever. Love you always and miss you forever until we meet again xx
