Life for the York sisters was hard. They worked at 'Fairbridge' & were employed in the workforce as Domestics from 14 yrs of age. All married & raised their families in Manjimup, Katanning & Bunbury. Their married names were H Hayes, PH Webse, A Bruce & Williams.
