Alexander (Alec) Wylie (13) and sister Helen (12) left behind family in Glasgow to join other underprivileged British children bound for Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra. He married Joan Alma Middleton also from Fairbridge. With their four children, they lived in Willagee for many years. Alec served in the regular Army.
