The Wydra family lived at 7 Broad Arrow Rd Kalgoorlie which Wladylsaw (Wally) rebuilt over a period of 15 years. It had formally been a miners cottage. Paula raised three sons; Roman (the youngest) was born in Kalgoorlie. She was very active in CWA and the Red Cross.
