Departed London under BENDIGO, transferred to BALRANALD in Falmouth. Settled into farming in country Western Australia from 1928. Joined Australian Army in July 1940. Prisoner of War under Japanese for three and a half years in Thailand & Singapore. Returned to farming in WA. Married with 2 children. Retired to Perth 1970.
