Was a Barnard Boy & came from Banstead Boys Orphanage to WA & Fairbridge Farm (as it was at that time for orphans). When he was a little older he was sent to work on farms & dairies in the south west. Served in Timor in WWII & was a 2/2 Commando. A wonderful man.
