Moved from England to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1948 under contract with Mitchel-Cotts - importers of electrical switchboards & general merchandise. At end of contract in 1956, they declined work in UK, as they were back on rations again, after the Suez crisis. Migrated to Perth for a better lifestyle.
