  • The eldest son, James Whittem, was a family friend we called 'Blue'. He met my parents in Roma and shared a love of Moreton Bay with my parents; he retired to Cleveland, took us out in his boat and had a boat dock in the Redlands area. He died in Cleveland in 1974 and his wife died in 1977. I would like him to be remembered. I do have a photo of him and of his boat. Jenny
