Read their story

Travelled by train to Denmark then onto Group Settlement 113 at Parry's. Arrived to a 3-sided shack, 4th wall was painted hessian, and had a dirt floor. Given an axe to clear the land. They grew potatoes but walked off their land when the potato market market collapsed in the late 1920's.
