Alfred and Daisy left Wellard in 1926. They worked for the Public Works Department on railway construction throughout the Wheatbelt, living in tents. In 1931 they returned to Mandogalup on the Peel Estate establishing a successful market garden and dairy farm.

Alfred and Daisy White were my father James Alfred White’s uncle and aunt. They were from the Edmonton area of London. I’d love to hear from any of their descendants.
