William and Rebecca were married 10 March 1850 in Wareham, Moreden, Dorset, England. Just prior to leaving for Fremantle they travelled with Rebecca's widowed father (John Marsh) and her brothers Cornelius, Frederick, Edward and sisters Sarah, Elizabeth and Emma.

  • I'm so pleased to see this entry. I am currently researching both William and Rebecca Wellman, as I a descendant of theirs and their first son John. I have Rebecca's death certificate and she passed away on the 3rd March 1854. I will make an effort to come and see this in person.
