Koen was second in a family of 5 children. At the age of 11 and to help the family financially, he did all sorts of jobs; helping the Baker, Milkman and selling papers in town. Later he became a successful Sales Person and Business Manager.

Hallo Koenie. Bij het surfen op het web kwam ik jouw naam tegen. Onmiddellijk kwamen allerlei herinneringen van vroeger uit Overdinkel weer boven. En uiteindelijk zijn wij ook nog familie van elkaar.
