Paul, a farmhand/prisoner of war, met and married 'Mitzy' in Horton-cum-Studley, Oxfordshire. Paul's parents and sister were domiciled in East Germany - he never returned to live there, remaining in Oxfordshire until emigrating to WA with his wife and children, Christine, Peter, Carol and Sharon.
