Isabel was one of 40 girls who were nominated to emigrate by The Hon. Mrs Joyce, representing the Girls Friendly Society. In 1900 she married Mr John Henderson and gave birth to Annabel Vera later that year, who was the mother of Peter and Glenn Miller.
