Owning only the clothes they wore, WWII refugees Stan and Freda gratefully accepted the opportunity to establish a new life as Australians. Courage, tenacity, fortitude and heroic strength were combined with hard work as they acquired home ownership and security and ensued a good education for their daughter Brigette.
