Charles (Penang) originally arrived Perth 29.02.1940 to study agriculture. He served in the British Army having been rejected by the Australian forces. Post war he married Gwen Neubronner of Singapore and had 2 children before returning to Perth. The family paid own passage to Australia $28.00SD.
