William Walter worked for a bridgebuilding company at Beverley. William and Jane had three sons at Beverley, William, Frederick, Arthur and two infants deceased. Moved to North Fremantle where they had George, Evelyn, Rose and Doris. William worked Harbour Trust as a carpenter. Son William was Mayor of North Fremantle 1951-1961.
