Read their story

My brother & I came with many others as child evacuees, after the battle of Dunkirk - cost 10 pounds. We had plane and submarine escort for a certain distance. When we reached Durban, we found out that the ship behind was torpedoed and all children and crew lost. We had adultsescorts whose ship was sunk on the way back, and some taken as Prisoners of War.
