A handsome tall big man who went ahead of his family by 2 years - chopped timber at 'Millars Yard', Jarrahdale. Then settled in Osborne Park - worked very hard as a Market Gardener. He did at one time work at Cunderdin chopping wood to power the Scheme Water to Kalgoorlie.
