Arriving at 19, Angelo went to Boogardie Gold Mine to work with his Uncle Andrea & brother Michele. He also worked at the Bullfinch, Southern Cross & Marvel Loch mines. Married Lucia Notaro in 1961& they had 4 children - Diane, Mirna, Tony (deceased) & Terry. He passed away at 47.
