Klem worked in the southwest sleeper cutting. Also worked in the quarries in Fremantle and timber mill in Boddington and market garden in Osborne Park. Retired at 65yrs and passed away at 85yrs. Married to Rita nee Vladich and had 3 sons: Lennard, Gregory and Warren.
