Benedetto Vilardi who was one of 7 children, eldest son of Francesco & Maria Vilardi, migrated from his home town Alcamo, Sicily, Italy on the ship 'Australia' in 1962 with his brother Stefano Vilardi, in hope of starting a better life in Australia.
