Came with their 18 month old son Gints. Raised four other children - Vilnis, Paul, Inara & Valda. Pavils was a keen horticulturist & had a hobby farm on his 1/4 acre block, (chooks & geese). Ruta had exceptional culinary skills & prepared traditional Latvian food (pirags, tortas).
