He arrived in Australia (Fremantle) commencing work for Metropolitan Markets for R.N. Mooney which helped finance his brother (Petro) to Australia. His mother ( Chrissie) and brother ( Manoli) followed later. He married Rose Spartalis in 1952 and fathered two children, George and Kris. He retired in 1988.
